I was hoping for more, so I made do with less.
I dropped my iPhone in a glass of water.
I got inspired and set fire to my Apple TV.
I threw my Macbook Pro in the electronic recycle bin at Staples.
I bought Moleskines and Field Notes and stamps and envelopes.
I wrote down my thoughts and made sketches of how I wanted to reshape the world.
I woke up early and drank coffee and wrote down what I really wanted to get accomplished.
I drew a hole and climbed inside of it and rolled out into the uncut grass of the yard of my childhood home and I had chores to do that day but then I could play.
I hid in the hanging clothes on display at the department store.
I rode my bike into the woods and built a rope swing on a hill side.
I woke up and thought, “Ah, at least I still dream in analog.”
It was the weekend and I could sleep in so I did.
I was drawn to the nooks and crannies & the strange hanging thing.
The shadows and geometries drew me in. Also, it felt like a ghost was following me and maybe I could capture it by taking a picture.
